Bike Storage Hangars in Devizes

 

 In 2020 we ran a survey, asking why people had stopped cycling at the end of lockdown. The two major reasons were dangerous roads and a lack of secure bike parking. Many households in the town live in flats, mid-terraced houses or canal boats without easy access to somewhere safe to keep their bike. One way to provide parking is to set up secure bike hangars. 

 

 

 To judge the demand for hangars, and to encourage the council to provide them, we are running another survey. This can be found by clicking on the picture or here. 

 This picture, in Bath is an example of the hangars available. They usually take 6 bikes, and there is a small annual charge.

Access is with a key or by an app and stands are inside to allow bikes to be securely locked.
